In Toastmasters, you can't outsource Leadership

In conducting Toastmasters meetings, speakers can be outsourced, evaluators can be outsourced. But not its leaders.

Yesterday, CaMaNaVA Toastmasters Club had a joint meeting with REBAP Toastmasters Club. We managed to have six speakers in the program. Two speeches were credited to CaMaNaVa, one for El Presidente, one for Emperor, and REBAP did two demo speeches. Aside from that, six presidents and two area governors were present. Presidents of CaMaNaVa, El President, Emperor, Greenhills Prime, REBAP, and Sultan and the governors of Area 3 and 4. ATMB Alex Yu of Greenhills Prime was our General Evaluator and the his entire team of speech evaluators were from REBAP--Ray Chavez, President Vangie Yia, Romy Judan, and Tom 'Zeldo' Ang. Sultan President Cesar Jacinto was the Topics Masters and I did the the Topics evaluation.

In summary, my CaMaNaVa club simply did two speeches, topics evaluation, ah counting and the emceeing. The rest were outsourced. I orchestrated all these and I do not think anyone else outside the club can do a better job at what I did unless I relinquish the full ownership of the job but that is no longer outsourcing.
