I am the President and principal architect of GT Management, a young and bold business resource company. We seek the cutting edge solutions everyone does, but with a unique application: to small businesses and small towns and rural areas. These business consumers have always covetted the high tech efficiencies of urban based big businesses but have never been able to access them due to their inability to scale those costs to their market sizes. The urban/high tech benefactors did not mind, they… Continue

WirelessMatch -UK's Wireless Funding Network: Introduction

Hi Open Coffee Club members

WirelessMatch was set up due to a perceived funding gap in the funding escalator regarding companies with wireless, mobile internet, online media and mobile telecoms companies.

WirelessMatch is gathering a network of investors, both sector relevant individuals (often former entrepreneurs themselves) and TMT venture and development capital funds interested in pre-screened investment opportunities requiring funding.

We are interested in hearing…

RIT Digital Entrepreneurship

RIT Digital Entrepreneurship is my social network on ning that began as a class of students from many different disciplines on the RIT campus. Now it includes interested parties from around the globe. Please come in and offer your expertise.

PS: I made the mistake of making the site private, so you will have to "ask to join". So far I have said yes to all.

Hi, glad to be here, looking forward to making it to one of these. Highly caffeinated tech-talk rules.

Hi From RDC

Just a quick hello to introduce ourselves!

RDCapital is a young mini-vc formed by a group of savy city investors who specialise in software & technology within finance and capital markets - we are looking to invest in seed level companies in this space both in capital and our time. I am also interested to hear about B2B startups - we have good relationship with the key business angels networks in the City of London so happy to help where we can...

Opencoffee seems to be a great initiative - where is Tallinn?

It seems that only month after Saul's initial blog post the initiative has grown to several cities around the world - but Tallinn (and Scandinavia at all, except Stockholm) is not presented. Time to gather and start :)

Journos and Open Coffee

OK. I haven't been to an Open Coffee event yet. Though I've been following people's posts with interest.

What's that about?

I'm a journo. And that made me a little anxious about the first couple of meetings because:

(a) If you guys need to get down to business, then I might not be so welcome.

(b) You might feel anxious about saying anything to me anyway, for fear it will end up being publicised when you don't want it to be.

However, I'd just like to make… Continue

Who am I?

BrainBakery Ltd* has been around for a while (we registered the company in June, but have been together much longer), but we've been a bit secretive until now... so I should probably introduce myself and the team!

I started BrainBakery with my cousin in January last year, having worked with him on small projects for years. Shortly afterwards we embarked on a mad-cap project somewhat similar to WeedShare,… Continue

Hello OpenCoffee!

I've been watching the OpenCoffee phenomenon from the sidelines for a few weeks now, all the time dreaming I could be there..

... and now finally I can!

This week sees the end of my life as a full time corporate slave and part time entrepreneur... now I can finally play with our company all day long!

I can't tell you how great this feels. I worked self-employed when I left… Continue

Trial Run: In the meantime

Will be interesting to see how this network runs, as a social network. Might be a good place for entrepreneurs to "mash in" to Ning, or mash with each other!

If anyone is interested, drop me an email! or come on over to my blog at

Modern Marketing

I am a marketeer operating within the modern web space. I have joined OCC because these days I find the most interesting and enlightening conversations about modern marketing come from members of the tech community. If you are interested in marketing you may be interested in having a root around my blog. (Despite Ning's insistence that I am in the US, I am based in London UK - although I do get over fairly regularly).
