Hi Saul,

We just had our first Open Coffee at the Sussex Innovation Centre, Brighton. Brought together a good mix of local entrepreneurs and academics from the University of Sussex. We've got lots of people talking and we're working with Ivan Pope who kicked off the Brighton Open Coffee a few months back. Please can you add Open Coffee Sussex to your list, we have a page up at: http://www.opencoffeesussex.com

Cheers,

Jon.

Hi Saul,

I am from India, has anything like this happened before in India, if not, i would like to take this forward for young startups. In addition, i am part of this event called www.proto.in which is happening on this saturday and sunday for entrepreneurs, startups and emerging technologies in India. Let me know how i can take this forward.

Saul, Awesome idea, would love to see coffee groups in London at the weekends or in the evenings. I, like many entrepreneurs in the foramtive stage, still have full time jobs whilst they are building the concept and doing research. I imagine it is at this time that meeting like minded souls to share thoughts, advice and war stories to be most helpful

On a different note, how long did it take to customise Ning for your needs ? I have just launched a website called smokerslife and want to build in forum functionaility using something like ning. Would you recommend any other systems, or did your wealth of experience lead you inextricably to one mountain

Thaks for the advice in advance

Hi Saul,

We love the Opencoffee idea and want to start it here in Russia – first in Moscow, then who knows? Along with Moscow group on eventful.com, we’re making a separate site for Russian OpenCoffee meetings: http://opencoffee.ru. First meeting on 08.09.

Page for those who don't speak russian is http://opencoffee.ru/node/25.

Details via personal message.

Another one for your growing list. Wondering if you thought what you started in London would be taking over the world?
