An Intro to Myself & Epcess...

Hi, I'm Piers a 2nd year student studying BSc Computer Science at University College London. Back in 2004, whilst doing my A-Levels, I had already started developing websites for small businesses under the name of Epcess Digital Media. In between school and these projects, I also came up with a few projects of my own.

In 2005, after finishing school, I decided to direct more attention towards one of the projects that I had been working on: a nationwide private property website. The idea was looking promising. After a year of trading, a friend and I set up a limited company and rebranded the website & the business as 'Epcess Property'. After a year with mixed results, we realised that in order for the business to be taken further we would need more experience in the property market itself. So, at the end of last year we decided to sell the business to someone with more experience, time and money.

Since selling a majority stake in 'Epcess Property' in March, I am looking to expand my website portfolio and to develop some of my recent business ideas. I have learnt a lot from the last few years; starting up and running a company; developing websites and dealing with customers and clients.

I look forward to meeting new people through the OpenCoffee Club. I think it is a great idea!
