Obstacles to Starting A Business

I have wanted to start my own business for a couple fo years, but the biggest thing holding me back is the need for Medical insurance. Has anyone found a good solution to getting affordable coverage when not part of a bigger organization. I alos had a plan to supplement my start-up costs by selling Kentucky real estate, but that market went in the tank last year too. I don't want to get into huge debt to do this. Very tough.
