Speaking and Shopping in Cubao

I had a stint as General Evaluator (评价主人) or G.E. this afternoon at the Cubao Merchants Association Toastmasters Club. It was the first time I had fun being a G.E. as I did not experience jitters anymore and it was just only my 5th or 6th time to act as G.E. in any speech club.

Already in Cubao I decided to for some shopping. Went to Booksale and Fully Booked. I had nothing to crave for and that's freedom to enjoy as these days much stuff can be downloaded for free from the 'net. I managed to download MP3 versions of the Arbinger Institute's Leadership and Self-Deception and John Maxwell's 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership this week. I am still awaiting the arrival of my reserved copy of Presentation Zen. I also saw a copy of Chinese: A Comprehensive Grammar being sold for PhP 3999. Later, I went to cdr-king and bought an impact tool for punching down telephone wires on 66 and 110 blocks
