2007 is primarily my Toastmasters year. I am three speeches away from completing my Competent Communicator and Competent Leader norms with the club. FreeToastHost websites are up and had already brought new members and will continue to do so for both Emperor and CaMaNaVa Toastmasters clubs. Emperor Toastmasters has gone from a very bad club to one of the best. Rehabbing CaMaNaVa brings a new experience as well as another stage to practice the craft of presentations.
Reworked much code on my then shelved TABS--Telephone Accounting & Billing System. Completed an Imaging System for documents, and a Ticket Registration & Verification System that was used in both FHM's Call to Arms and the 2007 Xavier Grand Alumni Homecoming.
Sticking to Win32 as I tried out Darwine on a Macbook. The Asus EEE PC also presents possibilities for on-the-go Win32 apps. Internet everywhere isn't happening yet in the the near term. Discovered Windows FLP and it keep legacy machines going.
For 2008, I have to continue my Mandarin lessons with RosettaStone, Pimsleur and language partners from iTalki.
More importantly, I have to regain my passion and bravado for writing code.
