Matthew - you haven't met anybody on SFOC? And after you dumped beer in my lap at 2nd St. Brewery, I thought we were kinda close! ;-)

Many thanks to Andy Alsop for my opportunity to become the new Santa Fe Open Coffee Coordinator.

Our next meeting is planned for Thursday, December 10th from 10:00 AM until noon at the Santa Fe Complex. This was the site of our last Open Coffee and many attendees said that it was a great location with plenty of room for the 50+ attendees to meet and network.

This month's Open Coffee is being sponsored by Northern New Mexico (NNM) Connect (http://www.nnmconnect.net.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Hi folks -- I had intended to join this group months ago when attending a string of events at the complex, but forgot during a period of intense business negotiations. Kate reminded me today by email and am available so plan on attending Thurs. I am best described as a serial entrepreneur to include five years as a VC in a firm I founded, primarily focused on our Kyield venture here in NM ( www.kyield.com ), which emerged from our internal lab over a long period.

I recently started a linkedin group 'New Mexico Entrepreneurs' -- see that a couple people here have joined -- direct link:

looking forward to getting back into the community & being a part of the business network. Is there a calendar posted somewhere or are the meetings set for a regular day each month?
Comment by Mark Walztoni on February 2, 2010 at 3:36am
Tammy, the meetings generally occur every 5-6 weeks depending on sponsor and host availability. To make planning easier for everyone, the next Open Coffee dates following our February 19th event are planned for March 25 and May 6th. Same time, same place.
